We have listed a few famous trekking places near Bangalore, within 50 to 100 kilometers; Madhugiri, Savandurga Hill, Channarayana Durga, Ramanagara, Skandagiri, Devarayanadurga, Nandi Hills.
1] Madhugiri
One of the off-beat trekking places near Bangalore offers some challenging stretches on its one-&-half-hour-long trek.
Madhugiri is the second-largest monolithic rock after Savanagiri. Once you reach the peak, the architectural remains of Gopalakrishna Temple are worth exploring.

2] Savandurga Hill
This pictorial place has two popular trails; Billigudda and Karigudaa. Savandurga offers an easy to moderate trekking experience along with a picturesque view.
One of the major highlights of Savandurga is the Night trek. Also, try to visit the historical fort of Kempegowda on the way.

3] Channarayana Durga
This place has an unusual yet amazing combination of rustic hill views and thrilling trek stretches. You can explore many herbs & shrubs with medicinal values on the way or visit the age-old Maratha Fort located at the peak.
Be careful while trekking here; there are no signboards here, which will confuse you.

4] Ramanagara
Ramanagara is one of the favorite trekking places near Bangalore. This place offers a moderate to difficult trekking experience; everyone loves to trek here right from amateur to professional trekkers.
Ramanagara has a spectacular view, and the silk market here tempts travelers to explore more. The highlights of this place are Pitch climbing, fishing in Kanva, and Janapada Loka reservoir.

5] Skandagiri
This place offers moderate to difficult level trekking experience; professional trekkers prefer Skandagiri due to its challenging trails.
You can explore two caves on your way while trekking and enjoy the impeccable beauty of this place. You can also try some adventure activities here like jet skiing and others.

6] Devarayanadurga
Move number of tourists visit here during March and April due to the cave festival of Sri Bhoga Narashima Swamy. There are two Historical temples located here, Sri Yoga Narashima Temple on the top and Sri Bhoga Narashima Swamy Temple at the bottom.
You can also enjoy the hypnotizing natural springs - Namada Chilume.

7] Nandi Hills
This fantastic location is known as the famous Indian warrior Tipu Sultan’s summer palace. Offering an easy to moderate level trekking experience Nandi Hills has an awe-inspiring sunset view. The astonishing views of Amrita Sarovar here are worth exploring.
